be trying times (smile) "But they that wait upon the Lord SHALL renew their strength" so sorors I say that to say this lets reap the harvest God has given us which is one another! I love you all so much and I want to apologize for not taking the time to intercede on your behalf. For me not interceding almost carries a body language of non-importance... and you are all important to me and I love you!

One thing that I love about Gamma Chi Epsilon Christian Sorority Incorporated is that we have women from various backgrounds, cultures, and lifestyles. Some of us are married and some are singled and all of us in our various capacities have a task to do. Whether it's in a leadership position with Gamma Chi or in your everyday lifestyle your job, family, church family and school we all assume to meet the obligations and demands of our daily schedules.
How much time are we spending interceding for one another and Gamma Chi ministry... yes I know that we pray for one another but praying and interceding are two different things. Prayer is a reverent petition made to God or another object or act of worship. To intercede means to plead on another's behalf. Pleading is a cause of action, so with that said are we pleading for one another in our everyday journey? Gamma Chi is a strong, powerful ministry but the true esscence of her being is fullfilled in God through each and every one of us. We must stay strong and fight the enemy on our knees. Nyna "Sole Secret" inspired me... I know that she wouldn't want me to put her on the spot but she has... I didn't know it but this past week Nyna was interceding on my behalf... to go through the week an not even know that my soror was interceding for me brought conviction and a challenge to my heart. I pray for Gamma Chi and every member of Gamma Chi, but I can't say that I intercede, that is a deeper focus, commitment and sacrifice that would require time set asside for me and the Father to meet and say I'm going to dedicate this time to intercede not for myself but for someone else and in this case my sorors.
We have people out there who need to here the gospel and women who needs to know that there's a better way to living then what the media and society displays. However we must continue to stay strengthened ourselves knowing that in this ministry there will..

Body of Christ, we have to keep our fellow brothers and Sister lifted up in prayer. Lets pray for the fathers. Do you know how important the Father is in a family. Very important. It was never intended for the father to be non- existent in the house hold. Though we see it everyday and it has been going on even in biblical times that still does not negate the fact that a father is a very important. We pray that God heal our fathers physically, mentally, socially and above all spiritually. We pray that The will of God shall prevail over the schemes of the enemy. The enemy wants to take out the head but what the enemy fail to accept is that his head was crushed along time ago. We have to stay encouraged and continue to pray for our fathers such as : Larry Wilks (congestive heart failure), James Lane (cancer/tumor), Darryl Johnson (Brain tumor), and many many more. As the Body of Christ we know that the name of Jesus is above any other name. No matter what it is; incarceration, cancer, addiction, heart failure, brain tumor, bipolar, … the name JESUS is above it all and has power over all those names. We have to pray we have to intercede for the people. More than anything I pray that the Lords will be done.

The process to grow is never what you think it's going to be. You think, "Okay, I'm gonna read my Word, pray a lil bit, and spend more time w/ God." HA!! Mine was a lil different. My mom died. You might think how the heck does that grow you spiritually? Well, all the time that I spent w/ God that I thought "wasn't a lot and I can do better" was still time well spent b/c I could call up things I knew to keep me sane. I've learned that I'm a LOT stronger than I ever thought. If I can still trust in the God that I sometimes feel "took my mother," that says something about me and the relationship I've developed w/ Him. Did my mom have to die for me to grow? No, but God uses everything that happens in life as a way to continually draw you to Him! So, God I thank You for drawing me in!!

Wow, Tina, I just want to thank God for the god in you because you are ministering to the ones who have lost faith that God still loves them. You are a witness of Gods faithfulness and patience. You are a witness of a worthy God. I just thank God for you, Tina, Arsenia and Sheena. You all have lost one or both of your parents but it has not taken you out, it has not stopped you from striving to live a Holy life. I could not imagine what I would do if that happened to me but I pray that I would take it as graceful as you all have. God has really used you all. I truly thank the Lord for some true sisters in Christ. Sisters who have been chosen to lead by example in the way that God has chosen…Even though it may hurt, their soul still cries, Yes and Amen!!!

Body of Chris, we need to lift up our voices unto God and intercede for the families of the ones who have past away, especially in recent deaths. My cousin was 17 years old and he got his face shot off last Thursday and died. My sister’s grandmother past away last week as well. I’m sure everyone has heard about Jennifer Hudson and her tragedy, you guys prayer is key. We have to pray for everyone especially in times as these.

As you guys know this is my last year at Semo and so far this is the best year. My friends have felt as if I have neglected them since I don't party anymore and I was wondering since Homecoming is coming up in the next couple of weeks should I go to the dance that's in the UC or just partake in the day activities and skip the dance. I really need you guys input because one part of me is thinking it's just a dance and not really a "party" and my new boyfriend wants to go and the other part of me is not sure if it's right.

Also, I heard that Brian Hunter, a member of AOT, is in the hospital.
I'm not exactly sure what happened, or if he's okay yet. But it never hurts to pray.

How can a solider in the middle of a war be effective if he or she doesn't know what their assignment is? Are they supposed to lie back and defend or should they attack? They'll end up not doing anything, the wrong thing or even end up hurting soldiers on their side.
When it comes to the Christian walk, which God refers to as a spiritual battle (Eph. 6:10-20), many Christians have no idea what their assignment is. This reduces the Christian to an ineffective life. This Christian ends up walking aimlessly around the battlefield, in the wrong place, or maybe shooting Christians along the way. If there's enough Christians who are like this, the entire army is reduced to ineffectiveness.
So how does one determine what one's calling is? First we have to discuss that there are general callings and specific callings. General callings are for all Christians such as to worship God, be a good witness, and transform culture. But God has given everyone specific callings - callings personalized just for you.
God has given you three main things to figure out what your calling is.
#1. Gifts
#2. Talents
#3. Resources
Gifts + Talents + Resources = One of Your Callings.
GIFTS are spiritual areas of life that God has given you (Rom. 12:3-8, 1 Cor 12). Some gifts are: teaching, service, preaching, encouragement, generosity, music, hospitality, etc.
TALENTS are physical areas of life that God has given you that you are good at. Public speaking, singing, mathematics, debate, accounting, writing, cooking, interior design, child care, etc.
RESOURCES are physical objects God has blessed you with that enhance your gifts and talents. Money, car, house, friends, schooling, degree, church, family, etc.

Chela! Oh my goodness today has been a good day so far. From the time i got up this moring its like something was diff. in the spirit. Its so much that has went on in these last days and God is really showing up and showing out. When i tell you just this morning i spoke a thing well not just one thing but about three things by faith and they came to pass after i spoke it. God is worthy of so much more and we have got to give him glory !
